When does registration close?
The maximum number of participants is 60.
Will there be a waiting list?
Yes.
Why should I book at the group rate?
Several reasons:
· The rates are locked in, and are already lower than the internet rates.
· Participants can get a full refund on their stateroom prior to January 20, 2011.
· If you need to cancel after January 20, 2011, and if there is a waiting list, those booked under the group rate have flexibility to change names.
What does the $200 deposit cover?
$100 is for your Celebrity Cruise stateroom deposit and is fully refundable until January 20, 2011.
$100 is your Master Class deposit and is not refundable unless someone from the waiting list takes your seat.
Why should I register now?
· There is limited space – you don’t want to miss the boat!
· It helps busy people plan around other obligations and deadlines.
· To have plenty of time to get matched with a roommate.
· Deadlines for cruise ships are earlier than the typical hotel-based conferences.
· So you have time to pay in installments before the holidays, which is when the deadlines are due.
How do you match roommates?
After a second individual of the same gender registers for the same cabin type, Write at Sea will give you a cyber introduction so you know who you’ll be sleeping with! J
I want to register with a friend/spouse, how do I do that?
If you are both attending the Master Class, please register individually and put the name of your roommate in the comment/special need section so you’ll be booked in the same cabin.
If your friend/spouse isn’t attending the Master Class please indicate their full legal name (same as on their government ID) and country of citizenship so you can be booked in the same cabin.
What is the single rate for a stateroom?
This ship doesn’t have single cabins. The cost for a single cabin will cost the same as a cabin with two people.
Do I need a Passport?
For U.S. citizens, current government regulations do not require a passport for closed-looped cruises that depart and return at the same U.S. port. These regulations can change without notice, which is why both Celebrity Cruises and Write at Sea strongly suggest you have a passport so you aren’t denied boarding.
To renew or apply for a new passport, details are on the
Department of State website. As of May 2010, the process time for new passports was 4-6 weeks.
