2010 Debut Cruise

"Fun.  Fantastic.  Focused!  The spring 2010 Write @ Sea cruise was all I hoped for and so much more.  Mary and Dianna worked with us through each state of the story process with lots of individual attention.

Limited access to the outside world made it easier to concentrate on the work during the day.  Fun festivities at night helped refuel and recharge for the next day.

Perfect, can't wait for 2011."

"The Write at Sea weekend retreat provided just the right amount of inspiration and nuts-and-bolts instruction to kick my emerging novel to the next level."

~ Randy S., Thriller

"Why Write at Sea?  Be waited on hand and foot.  Superb dining and entertainments always available.  Learn and apply deeply, beyond anything I've experienced in another class.  Something about being at sea and so separated from all obligations creates a feeling of enough time to do all the learning."

~ Terrel H., Contemporary Romance and Romantic Suspense

"Write at Sea is an experience I'd recommend for anyone who wants to write a novel.  The cruise itself is relaxing, soothes the harried urban mind and lets the creativity shine through.

Mary and Dianna have an extraordinary gift for grasping what you're trying to say, and finding the right threads to pull to strengthen your story.  I came here with one image of my hero looking at a stale sandwich - by day two, I had an outline growing that I can hardly wait to get home to fill out."

~ Cait D., Paranormal

"Great Value.  Relaxing way to improve your writing sills and manuscript.  Puts you over the top on the way to being published."

~ Ron C., Paranormal Suspense

~ Kim C., Romantic Suspense, Thriller

"Write at Sea with Mary Buckham and Dianna Love was a fun and fabulous way to get serious work done on my manuscript.  Conversing with other authors all going through the same thing enriched the experience immeasurably.  I'll be eager to sign up for the next one.  Awesome, Awesome, Awesome.  Julia Hunter was the perfect hostess.  Thank you for everything!"

~ Chassily W., Mythic Romantic Fantasy

"Mary Buckham and Dianna Love's Write at Sea gave me a concentrated inspirational forum to rework an old manuscript.  Done right, this weekend allows writers to walk away with a strong plot line - and information that lasts."

~ Susan A., Women's Contemporary Fiction

"This was an excellent opportunity to receive personal one-on-one attention and advice from two authors in the know.  Both Dianna and Mary offered tips, strategies and suggestions to help bring my characters to life and add depth to the world I'm in the process of creating.

This retreat was informative for the writer just beginning to sketch out the details of a fictional story and the writer with several chapters into the process already.  I would definitely recommend this corse for anyone aspiring to break into the world of fiction."

~ Nikia B., Contemporary and Paranormal Romance

"Write at Sea was creatively challenging and pushed me to be a better writer.  Being able to sit at the pool with a tropical drink and brain strom was an added bonus."
